Casa del Belén: La Torre del Reloj

En la pedanía murciana de Puente Tocinos, llamada cuna del belén de la Región de Murcia por su industria y tradición belenística, ha quedado inaugurada recientemente la Casa del Belén. Ubicada en un caserón del siglo XVIII, conocido como la Torre del Reloj, llamado así por un curioso y antiquísimo reloj de sol que había en su fachada, aunque durante mucho tiempo, esta casa fue también conocida en Puente Tocinos por el nombre de “La Torre de los Zamora”.

Museo de Bellas Artes de Murcia

En la ciudad de Murcia, sobre un lugar repleto de historia, aquel que un día ocupó el Convento de la Trinidad junto a la legendaria Puerta de Orihuela, se levanta este Templo del Arte. Fue el arquitecto Pedro Cerdán, en los albores del siglo XX, quien se encargó de estructurar el actual inmueble de carácter neoclásico, para el que decidió aprovechar algunos elementos del desaparecido convento del siglo XVII, recuperando así la columnata del claustro que desde entonces reluce en la fachada.

Museo Salzillo

El próximo 30 de mayo, el Museo Salzillo cumple 76 años. Se constituyó así como el segundo museo más antiguo de la ciudad y la actual Región de Murcia y fue creado por el Estado tras diferentes intentos desde comienzos del siglo XX, aunque ya desde el siglo XIX la iglesia privativa de Jesús era visitada por los viajeros que venían a la ciudad y que pedían su constitución como museo.

VILLAE

Desde el 7 de marzo hasta el próximo 2 de junio de 2019 se podrá visitar en el Museo Arqueológico de Murcia la exposición VILLAE. La misma se compone de 125 objetos arqueológicos que ofrecen un recorrido por el mundo de las villae romanas en la Región de Murcia.

Murcia me gusta. Ciudad clara de colores calientes, de piedras tostadas, color de cacahuete tostado. Y notas deliciosas de luz, las calles estrechas y sin aceras, las “veredicas del cielo”, las tiendas de los artesanos, el esparto y la cuerda. Y ahora en el crepúsculo, una luz maravillosa.
